Another Vanishing Neon

A photobook has its own editorial vision.
A calendar has its own sense of time.

*Another Vanishing Neon* is not a supplement to a previously published photobook. It is a separate editorial project born from photographs—which were not included for specific reasons—responding to ‘the format of a year’.

Twelve unpublished works. Twelve months of memories.
Hong Kong’s neon lights continue to burn quietly on the desk.

All previously unpublished works — none reprinted from the existing photobook. This compilation exists only here.
The format of the desk — a relationship with light that is renewed with every turn of the page. Time on a desk, rather than on a wall.
Memories of Hong Kong’s neon lights — as yet another record of fading light.

It was not that they could not be included in the photobook. There are lights that have been set aside, to be curated as a calendar.

Please note that the calendar is based on Hong Kong public holidays.

We plan to dispatch the calendars in early October.

The light that was there.
